| First degree in Computer Science or related field, strong background in computer science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, map-reduce and object oriented. Deep understanding and at least 5 years of experience in data platforms. This includes SQL and Non-SQL databases and solutions, specifically in Mysql, Hadoop, Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra or alike. 3+ years of experience in Java server side development. Familiar with Linux/Ubuntu OS.Strong analytical abilities and exceptional problem-solving skills.Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written.Self-starter, fast learner, can-do attitude and great inter-personal skills. |
